Parkway Behavioral Health is an established company with deep community roots. Parkway BH staff has a long community history of providing quality behavioral health services in Western North Carolina.

The founders of Parkway BH are Blair Clark, LPC, LCAS, CCS and Sandra Layton, LCSW, LCAS, CCS. Together, they have almost 50 years of combined experience providing successful mental health and substance abuse services in WNC. Parkway BH is comprised of a team of local community professionals who are dedicated to serving the behavioral health needs of the people of Western North Carolina.

Mental Health Reform in North Carolina has created much instability and change in behavioral health services over the last 5 years. Parkway BH is committed to partnering with clients and other community resources to find solutions.

Parkway BH has secured a staff of local behavioral licensed and qualified professionals who provide a wide array of affordable mental health and substance abuse services. We are currently contracted to provide Services for 3 counties in Western North Carolina: Buncombe, Henderson, and Rutherford. Parkway BH is licensed by the State of North Carolina, Endorsement by Western Highlands LME, accredited by CARF and will accept Medicaid, Health Choice and State-funded clients. Parkway BH is looking to expand the array of services we provide and PBH is currently an excellent referral source for families and significant others of prospective clients, employers and employee assistance programs (EAPs); managed care organizations; physicians, mental health professions and other human services providers; attorneys and the Criminal Justice System.
